INJECTABLES
-
Dermal fillers are gel-like substances that are injected beneath the skin to restore volume, smoothen lines, soften creases, and/or enhance facial contour. Most FDA approved dermal fillers are temporary since they are composed from materials that the body eventually breaks down and absorbs, such as hyaluronic acid (a sugar that is naturally found in the body), calcium hydroxylapatite (a mineral and major component of bone), and Poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) (a biodegradable synthetic material). Onset and longevity of results vary.
Lip Augmentation:
Dermal fillers are injected into the lips to increase volume, create symmetry, and natural enhancement. Dr. Batista uses a series of advanced injection techniques to perform this minimally invasive procedure in the office.
Liquid Rhinoplasty:
An in-office procedure in which injectable dermal fillers are used to temporarily reshape an individual’s nose without surgery.
-
PRP:
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is a platelet concentrated component from your own blood that contains nutrient rich cells and protein growth factors. PRP is a regenerative treatment used to promote collagen and elastin production, restore hair growth, and repair soft tissue injuries.
PRF:
Plasma Rich Fibrin (PRF) is a second generation PRP that contains a higher concentration of the blood protein, fibrin, white blood cells, and stem cells. Its fibrin matrix traps platelet cytokines and other growth factors to release them gradually over time, yielding longer-lasting results. It stimulates cell turnover, collagen and elastin production, skin tightening, and volume. PRF is known as the natural filler. It can be injected just like a dermal filler into the nasolabial folds, cheeks, chin, jawline, temporal hollows, and under eyes. Its potency and natural origin make it the preferred treatment for hair regrowth and remodeling.
-
Microneedling is a procedure that activates the body’s natural healing abilities to regenerate collagen and elastin for firmer, smoother, and evenly toned skin. At “The Institute”, practitioners use the first FDA approved microneedling device, SkinPen® to create micro-injuries on the skin, triggering the reparative response.
-
Polydioxanone (PDO) threads are biodegradable polyester sutures that are anchored and inserted into various layers of the skin using needles. Acclaimed to be the modern, non-surgical facelift, PDO threads instantly lift and tighten sagging skin, treat loose neck lines, loss of volume in cheeks, and fine lines and wrinkles.
-
Botulinum Neurotoxins (Botox®, Dysport®, Xeomin®, Jeuveau®) : Botulinum neurotoxins (BoNT) are proteins that temporarily interrupt nerve signals of targeted muscles, resulting in decreased contraction. This effect causes reduction of fine lines and wrinkles. Botulinum toxins are also used for the treatment of migraines, bruxism (grinding of teeth) and severe primary axillary hyperhidrosis (underarm sweating). Onset and longevity of results vary.

A gummy smile is when one smiles, the lip rests high on the gums. Usually we expect to see only the pink-ish (gingiva) little “triangles” between the teeth to show in a smile. While every genuine and authentic smile can be endearing, we strive to help our patients have the smile they self-diagnose is the most appealing. A typical or “ideal” smile exposes generally no more than 2 millimeters of upper gum tissues, whereas a “gummy” smile may show 3 millimeters or more of upper gum tissues. People with a “gummy” smile may feel their teeth are smaller than normal, may be reluctant to smile, or even self-conscious about their smile. However, a “gummy” smile can be improved through Botox treatment.
What Causes a Gummy Smile?
Here are some common causes of a gummy smile
• Long or enlarged gum tissue, known as gingival hypertrophy, can result in a gummy smile. (Gingival overgrown or having excessive gingival tissue can be medication induced and sometimes we use surgical intervention as well.)
• Excessive growth of the upper jaw, known as vertical maxillary excess, can expose more gum tissue.(This is a genetic pre-disposition.)
• A short or hyperactive upper lip can create an appearance of gums that is larger than usual.
• The size and shape of the teeth can result in a gummy smile. More gum tissue will be exposed if teeth appear to be small or hidden.
How Does BOTOX Work For a Gummy Smile.
A gummy smile can easily and effectively be treated with Botox. The best part of this treatment is that it is not invasive and it is a quick procedure! Botox has botulinum toxin type A, and when injected, it can relax the muscles in the upper lip and limit the rise of the upper lip when smiling, so the gums will remain covered. Two or more units of Botox are injected in the area between the nose and upper lip to reduce the appearance of any “gummy” smile, creating a more appealing and natural smile.
Again, treating a gummy smile with Botox is a minimally invasive procedure. The upper lip that is relaxed with Botox no longer contracts or elevates as much when smiling. The treatment is incredibly effective, and the results usually last 3 months; we have found that when we repeat this procedure, over time, generally we get more time between when treatment is required. One may return to work immediately after treatment, and results are often almost immediate with the full effect occurring by two weeks.
How Many Units of Botox Are Needed for a Gummy Smile?
One or two units of Botox are needed to fix a gummy smile. Botox is injected in the area between your upper lip and nose to temporarily freeze the muscles that contract or elevate when you smile which allows you to smile without showing your gums.
Benefits of Treating a Gummy Smile with Botox (over other care to treat this condition)
Here are some benefits of treating a gummy smile with Botox:
• Botox injections cause little discomfort and less so with repeat care.
• Recovery is immediate as soon as the procedure is finished.
• Botox is cost-effective as compared to surgical and other treatment options.
• Results are na
tural and quick.
• Injections can be adjusted depending on the results required.
Frequently Asked Question
1. How Much Does Botox for Gummy Smiles Cost?
The cost to treat a gummy smile with Botox varies depending on the number of Botox units used, the severity of the case, expected results, and other factors. Generally, Botox is affordable compared to other surgical procedures like lip repositioning and gingivectomy but needs to be repeated every 4-6 months to maintain the results. You may need more than one gummy smile treatment depending on the complexity of the case and the desired results, so the cost would vary according to the required number of procedures.
2. How Long Does Botox for a Gummy Smile Last?
The results may vary from patient to patient. Generally, the effects of Botox last for three to four months.
3. How Long Does Gummy Smile Botox Take to Work?
The results are not immediate. Upon injecting the Botox, you should wait for 2 or 3 days to see an improvement. The elevation of the upper lip will gradually decrease, and the full result will be visible within 14 days post-treatment. You may also be asked to visit your dentist for a follow-up appointment after 2 to 3 weeks to assess the treatment's success and determine if further adjustments are needed. Additional injections may be required depending on the results you want.
4. Can Botox Lift the Upper Lip?
Yes, Botox can be used to lift the upper lip. Just a few injections are enough to relax the upper lip allowing it to be more visible. Your dentist will inject a series of Botox injections above the upper lip, into the orbicularis oris muscle surrounding the mouth. Botox temporarily relaxes the muscles, elevating the lip so it looks well-defined and voluminous. This muscle relaxation also reduces vertical lines around the lips. The effects are visible within a few days after treatment, and the full result will be achieved in one week, lasting for three to four months.

What is Facial Balancing?
Facial balancing is a concept that refers to having dermal filler applied to various aspects of the face to achieve a more balanced and proportional facial appearance. The procedure is completely unique to each individual since it depends on the patient’s facial features and goals.
Dermal fillers are often used to enhance one specific facial feature, such as the lips. However, many patients have concerns over multiple aspects of their face that they feel are causing an imbalanced appearance. Our APRN examines the patient’s entire face to give a personalized facial balancing treatment plan. This will generally involve using dermal fillers, in varying quantities, on multiple facial features to enhance the overall balance of each patient’s face.
Why people have Facial Balancing treatments
Many of us have concerns over aspects of our face appearing imbalanced, but because facial balancing is a highly individualized procedure, the reasons for desiring the treatment often vary.
Facial proportions– The ideal facial ratios are often regarded as having well-proportioned sections of the face, where the forehead, nose, and chin each make up a ⅓ of the face. Some patients have concerns that a section of their face is out of proportion and desire treatment to enhance this area.
Profile balancing – Some patients have specific concerns over their facial features appearing imbalanced when they are viewed from their side profile. Here, the focus of the treatment is on balancing the facial features from the side profile, which tend to include alterations to the chin, nose, jawline, lips, and cheeks.
Balancing specific facial features – Many patients have particular concerns regarding specific facial features that they feel are not in proportion to the rest of their face. For example, some patients feel their chin and cheekbones are too small compared to their other facial features and undergo facial balancing treatments to enhance these specific areas. Our nurse practitioner will assess the entire face before any treatment to determine all areas which are necessary to achieve the desired result and ensure all features are well-balanced.
Facial symmetry – Some patients have concerns over facial asymmetry and desire more dermal filler to be added to one side of the face to ensure a more balanced and symmetrical appearance. For many patients facial balancing can produce this result, but in some cases, surgical procedures are necessary to provide their ideal outcome.
Ideal candidates
Anyone concerned with facial imbalances or other specific concerns listed above are potentially suitable candidates for facial balancing. Typically, good candidates for any facial dermal filler procedure are those who:
• Have good physical health
• Do not smoke
• Look after the health of their skin
• Have realistic expectations
Benefits
The specific benefits of the procedure will depend on the areas that are treated and the goals of the patient. General benefits of facial balancing treatments tend to be:
• Achieving a more balanced and proportioned facial appearance
• Having immediately visible results
• Achieving natural-looking results that help contour the face
• Achieving a more youthful complexion since dermal fillers are often used for patients with concerns of aging or wrinkles
• Avoiding invasive surgery
• That the procedure itself is simple and the recovery time is minimal
• The treatment costs are generally low compared to surgical procedures
• There are minimal risks of the procedure
Risks
Most side effects from dermal fillers occur immediately after the procedure and tend to be minor issues that resolve themselves. For example, bruising or swelling are normal reactions to something being injected into the skin. the potential risks as:
• Acne
• Asymmetry
• Bruising, bleeding, and swelling
• Potential for scarring
• Lumps
There are also very minimal risks of infections, inflammatory reactions, filler leakage, nodules (abnormal tissue growth), injury to blood vessels, tissue death, or blindness.
How is Facial Balancing performed?
Firstly, during the consultation, the nurse practitioner will carry out a thorough assessment of your facial features. This ensures that the treatment is tailored to your specific features, proportions, and desired look. Facial balancing is a simple procedure that consists of inserting dermal fillers (soft, gel-like substances) into the skin. Fillers can be inserted into multiple areas of the face including under the eyes, the cheekbones, the lips or chin.
The area is first cleaned, and any pain management treatments are applied (this can include numbing cream, anesthetic ointment, or local anesthesia). The dermal filler is then injected into the desired area of the face. This can take several minutes up to an hour depending on the number of areas being treated. After the treatment, the skin can be cleansed, and an ice pack applied to help reduce swelling. Recovery tends to be quick and there is minimal pain resulting from the treatment.
How long do the results of Facial Balancing last?
Since facial balancing uses dermal fillers, it is not a permanent solution for balancing the face, as the filler gets absorbed by the body over time. The main factor that impacts the longevity of the treatment is the type of dermal filler used. We typically uses RHA fillers, which tend to last around 2 years or longer if top-up treatments are performed.
The exact length of time dermal fillers last also depends on the area of the face that filler is applied to and how quickly your body absorbs the filler. In your consultation, We will discuss the specific dermal filler which will be used and give you an indication of how long the results will last.
No fillers are permanent, so surgical procedures would need to be undertaken to achieve any longer-lasting results.
Facial Balancing cost
The cost of facial balancing treatments heavily depends on the type of filler used, the number of areas treated and the quantity of dermal filler used. We will provide an estimated cost for your facial balancing treatment at your consultation, based on the planned number of treatment areas and the expected quantity of filler needed.

WHAT IS DIOLAZE?
The Diolaze technology is a diode laser used for convenient and quick treatments. The penetrating energy heats the root of the hair, effectively destroying it to prevent future growths from occurring in those areas.
HOW DOES DIOLAZE LHR WORK?
Diolaze XL is the newest and most advanced hair removal procedure. It targets the melanin in your follicles, which absorbs energy from a targeted laser beam to inhibit the growth of unwanted hairs for weeks or months at a time!
HOW LONG DOES DIOLAZE LAST?
Laser hair removal is a Near-Permanent solution. The treatment eliminates follicles precisely, so you'll never need to shave or pluck again!
What areas can be treated?
Diolaze laser hair removal technology can be used on most parts of the body where unwanted hair appears. It can safely remove both facial hair and body hair. The most common areas for treatment include the legs, arms, chest, back, bikini area, stomach, shoulders, neck, chin, and sideburns.
Who is a Good Candidate for Diolaze Laser Hair Removal?
Diolaze laser hair removal works best on patients who have light to medium-dark skin with darker hair. The laser targets the pigment in the hair follicle, so treatment is less effective on gray or blonde hair.
People with darker skin may benefit from laser hair removal, but the treatment may not be quite as effective. Individuals who have abnormal hormone levels that trigger excessive hair growth may especially benefit from laser hair removal.
How to Prepare for Diolaze Laser Hair Removal
For at least six weeks prior to undergoing laser hair removal treatment, avoid waxing and plucking. These forms of hair removal remove the hair at the root, which is needed for laser hair removal to work properly. Shaving prior to treatment is okay.
Also, avoid sun exposure for at least six weeks before and after treatment. Sun exposure can make laser hair removal less effective and can increase the risk of complications following treatment.
How Many Diolaze Treatments Will You Need?
Because hair follicles are at different stages of growth, it can take three to six treatments to achieve desired results. Laser hair removal works best on hair follicles that are more mature. With each treatment, you should see a noticeable reduction in hair growth.
Individual results will vary depending on factors such as age, skin, and hair quality. Although Diolaze permanently destroys the hair follicle to prevent hair regrowth, new hair follicles can grow in their place. However, with occasional follow-up and maintenance treatments, the area treated should remain virtually hair-free.
About InMode Diolaze Laser Hair Removal
Diolaze is the latest innovation in laser hair removal, offering several advantages over traditional methods:
The Diolaze technology covers a large treatment area, making treatments convenient and quick.
A diode laser beam is targeted toward the hair follicles during laser treatment. The penetrating energy then heats the root of the hair, effectively destroying that root and preventing future hair growth.
The Diolaze technology is safe for all skin types and colors, making it an ideal choice for sensitive skin.
There is no downtime after treatment, so you can resume your normal activities immediately.

Sun exposure, age, and other factors can damage the skin and cause discoloration, pigmentation irregularities, vascular skin lesions, and other skin concerns. If you would like to achieve glowing, radiant skin texture and an even, regular tone, you might have tried chemical peels or a variety of other options. Lumecca IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) treatments stand apart from other similar treatments. They are the most powerful intense pulsed light treatments available, and provide effective, outstanding results.
WHAT MAKES LUMECCA IPL DIFFERENT?
Lumecca distinguishes itself from other treatments and IPL treatments because it attracts pigment much more effectively but requires less energy. What that means is less discomfort and downtime, and a lower risk of possible damage to the skin.
Lumecca treatments are faster than other IPL devices, requiring only two treatments instead of the typical five or six.
And the results last longer, meaning you can enjoy your smooth, clear, refreshed skin longer term.
WHAT CAN LUMECCA IPL TREAT?
Lumecca IPL treatments can improve a wide range of skin concerns, including the following:
• Freckles
• Vascular lesions
• Sun damage
• Age spots
• Hyperpigmentation
• Rosacea
• Capillaries
• Broken blood vessels on the face
• Acne scars
How Does Lumecca Work?
IPL, or Intense Pulsed Light is used in a handheld device that penetrates selectively deep into the layers of pigmented skin. The spots, lesions or other pigmentation irregularities absorb the light, and this destroys them. The skin is left smooth, the texture evened out, acne is reduced, and rosacea and other irregularities are resolved.
What happens during the Lumecca IPL treatment?
We will start by applying a cold gel to your face and providing you with protective eyewear. We will pass the Lumecca handheld device over your skin, which applies wavelengths of IPL into the deeper layers of your skin.
When the pigmented cells absorb the light, they are destroyed and broken into tiny particles, which the body can then flush away naturally. The IPL is absorbed into the pigmented areas, leaving the surrounding skin free from damage.
Most patients do not find the treatment to be painful, and describe the light flashes as feeling like a tiny rubber band snap on the skin. Treatment time is about 20 minutes.
Lumecca IPL Benefits
Lumecca IPL provides a number of benefits for patients with pigmentation concerns, including:
• Non-invasive treatment
• An ideal treatment for both light and dark skin tones
• Includes a sapphire cooling tip which makes the procedure more comfortable
• Rejuvenates and revitalizes the skin
• Smooths the skin texture
• Evens skin tone
• Resolves pigmentation concerns, including freckles, lesions, age spots and more
• Reduces rosacea
Recovery Time and Results
After your treatment, you may experience itching, swelling or redness, which some describe to feel like a sunburn. This should pass by the next day.
Once these side effects disappear, you can continue with your regular activities, including makeup application. You will notice the pigmented areas getting darker. This is completely normal and part of the healing process. These areas will raise and flake off and the healthy new skin underneath is revealed. It’s important not to pick at these areas, but allow them to fall off naturally. Once revealed, the new skin underneath will continue to improve, with final results appearing in 1-2 weeks.
For some patients, results may be seen after one treatment. Others require more than one treatment to get the final, ideal results they desire. This will depend on your skin type, the severity of your skin damage, and whether your condition is vascular or based on sun damage.
Once treatments are complete, you can expect your skin to be smoother, more radiant and glowing, without pigmentation concerns.
HOW MANY LUMECCA SESSIONS WILL I NEED?
Lumecca requires less treatments than other IPL devices. However, some patients still need multiple treatments to achieve the most ideal results.
HOW LONG DO RESULTS LAST?
Most patients need a Lumecca IPL maintenance treatment every 6-12 months after their initial treatment course.
HOW OFTEN CAN LUMECCA IPL TREATMENTS BE DONE?
Lumecca treatments can be repeated every 3-4 weeks.
HOW LONG IS A LUMECCA TREATMENT?
About 20 minutes
HOW SOON CAN I WEAR MAKEUP AFTER MY TREATMENT?
Usually by the next day, once any redness or swelling has dissipated.

The HydraFacial treatment, sometimes called hydradermabrasion, is a new breakthrough in skin resurfacing technology. Using high-performance moisturizing serums and a patented hydradermabrasion tip, a HydraFacial combines cleansing, exfoliation, extraction, hydration and antioxidant protection in one single step to give you clean, smoother skin with no discomfort or downtime. The ability to simultaneously clean, exfoliate, protect and moisturize separates the HydraFacial from all other skin resurfacing procedures.
What’s Involved in the HydraFacial Treatment?
The HydraFacial treatment removes dead skin cells and extracts impurities while bathing the new skin with cleansing, hydrating and moisturizing agents. The treatment is often described as a feeling like “a cool paintbrush moving over the face”. The 15-minute treatment is soothing, refreshing, non-irritating and immediately effective, with results lasting for over a week. You may put on make-up and return to your normal activities right after the treatment since there is no downtime.
What Effects Does a HydraFacial Achieve?
A HydraFacial, or hydradermabrasion, treatment effectively and safely improves skin quality by increasing its thickness, repairing the dermal matrix and delivering beneficial antioxidants. Clinical improvements include better facial tone and texture, less dyschromia (skin discoloration) and fewer fine lines.
Am I a Good Candidate for a HydraFacial?
This procedure is ideally suited for those desiring non-ablative facial rejuvenation with minimal recovery. Even the most sensitive skin easily tolerates the HydraFacial treatment. Your physician or skin care professional will hand-pick specific treatment serums and/or customize the treatment for your unique skin condition and needs. It is always a good idea to receive a thorough evaluation and sensitivity test in order to receive the most personalized treatment.
What Skin Concerns Can Hydrafacial Treat?
The three-step HydraFacial process is intended to acheive extraordinary results with no downtime. The vortex action of the special machine, complemented by "boost" serums, can treat a wide variety of common conditions. Examples include dryness, dull complexion, enlarged pores, acne, hyperpigmentation, and fine lines and wrinkles.
Benefits of Hydrafacial Treatment
The HydraFacial treatment improves the appearance and overall health of the skin by cleansing, exfoliating, and boosting nutrient delivery, all in a brief treatment session. Benefits of a HydraFacial include:
• It is suitable for all skin types, even sensitive skin.
• It is gentle and non-irritating.
• There is zero downtime needed to recover from treatment.
• You can enjoy immediate results!
• You can combine your HydraFacial with other treatments, including injectables.
• The treatment is fully customizable to your needs.
Your HydraFacial will eliminate the blanket of dead and damaged cells that are dulling your complexion. After treatment, your skin will look smoother and more radiant. Your pores will look smaller and more refined, and discolorations may look slightly less prominent with each facial you receive.
How Is a Hydrafacial Performed?
There are four aspects of the HydraFacial, each of which has a powerful effect on your skin.
• Cleansing and exfoliation occur using hydradermabrasion. During this step, your provider will run a Vortex Exfoliation tip across the skin's surface to open pores and remove the superficial layer of debris from your skin.
• Gentle chemical peel. This second step enhances the first exfoliation via two chemical agents. The enhanced chemical exfoliation extracts blackheads and banishes acne-causing bacteria from the pores.
• Extractions. Vortex-Fusion technology takes the pain out of extractions during this facial. The device swiftly removes impurities from the pores while, at the same time, infusing the skin with nourishing serums.
• Customization. Your provider assesses your skin's needs and adjusts the suction power and serum boosters accordingly. The custom serum is applied to your skin as the last step of your HydraFacial treatment.
Is There Anything I Should Avoid Before or After a Hydrafacial?
It is important to plan well for your HydraFacial to ensure you achieve optimal results.
• Before your HydraFacial, it is imperative that you avoid the use of any product containing isotretinoin for a full six months.
• Avoid laser treatments and chemical peels for two weeks prior to your HydraFacial.
• Wear sunscreen daily to prevent sunburn.
• Do not get dermal fillers in the two weeks before your treatment.
• Do not get Botox or other neuromodulators in the week before your appointment.
• Care for your skin! Before a HydraFacial, it is beneficial to wash your face every day and apply sunscreen and moisturizer.
• Avoid exfoliation for a few days before your appointment.
• Do not shave on the morning of your appointment.
• If you apply makeup on the day of your facial, we will remove it for your session.
After your HydraFacial, you should:
• Keep your skin dry for at least six hours to allow your nourishing serums to absorb fully.
• Wear broad-spectrum sunscreen.
• Avoid exfoliation and chemical products like salicylic acid for at least two days.
How Many Treatments Are Needed for the Best Results?
HydraFacial treatment is designed to achieve noticeable results in just one session. That said, you can make this treatment a part of your routine skincare regimen. Monthly HydraFacials can reduce the appearance of sun damage, enlarged pores, and other imperfections while supporting long-term skin health.
A series of six treatments is recommended for improving the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, acne and oily skin. After your first series, you may want to maintain your results with a HydraFacial treatment every two to four weeks.
How Long Do Results Last After a Hydrafacial?
You can expect your HydraFacial results to last for approximately one week after your appointment.

What Is the fat reduction treatment?
(Cavitation, Laser Lipo and Vacuum therapy
How does it work?
Cavitation is a body sculpting treatment with no down-time and presents a risk-free alternative to liposuction. The result is instant loss of fat cells. Cavitation causes the fat cells to break up instantly and then the broken cells can then be naturally drained by the body’s own lymphatic system; they are then moved to the liver and safely metabolized out of human body which is assisted by drinking a lot of water, lymphatic drainage and exercise. Laser liposuction is an FDA-approved, minimally invasive surgical procedure that uses laser energy to break down stubborn pockets of fat sitting above the muscle; Vacuum therapy is performed with suction machine along side pressure that suck on the skin, enabling the stimulation and irrigation of the lymphatic system and blood vessels. As a result, the skin gains a natural and firm appearance.
What is the treatment like?
The treatment is a very relaxing, 45 minute treatment.
When can I expect to see results?
Most patients will be able to notice immediate results in the tightness of their skin; results continue to emerge in the days following the treatment. Normally multiple sessions are required, generally one per week until you had four to eight treatments in total.
Are there any side effects?
Normally there are no side effects from this treatment, but people might find the treatment are is a little red post treatment but this usually resolves after 30 minutes post treatment.
What areas can be treated?

What Does the Powder Brows Treatment Look Like?
The creation of powder brows process has several steps that usually look like this:
STEP 1: Consults and cleaning
You will have a chat with your artist about the look you want. It’s a good idea to come in for your treatment wearing your usual brow makeup, so they can get a sense of your preferences. Then, the artist prepares the area around the brows by cleaning it thoroughly.
STEP 2: Numbing
The eyebrows area is covered with topical anesthetic, which is left on for approximately 20 minutes until it kicks in.
STEP 3: Choosing a pigment
Together, you and your artist decide on the color of your eyebrows according to your hair and skin color.
STEP 4: Measuring and Mapping
The area of the eyebrows is measured, taking into account face shape, symmetry, facial features, etc. The outline of the arch shape is drawn on and once you’re happy with it, the actual application starts.
STEP 5: Needling process
The process of creating fine dots with a specialized machine and covering them with pigment. If there is any discomfort at this stage another quick layer of numbing cream can be added to the area (if your artist has access and permission to use secondary numbing).
STEP 6: Implementing pigment
A final layer of pigment is added, after which the eyebrow area is cleaned.
STEP 7: Touch up
Once your powder brows have healed, the touch-up is booked for filling in the gaps where the pigment hasn’t taken or healed properly.

What is lip blushing?
Lip blushing is semi-permanent, tattooed makeup that tints your lips using a cosmetic tattoo gun (on a low setting) and water-based inks.
The result is kind of similar to lip fillers in that your lips will look a little fuller simply by being defined and enhanced with pigment—but lip blushing won’t actually change the shape or feeling of your lips. Instead, it’ll just leave you with a soft, shaded-in color that can enhance your lip symmetry, cover uneven pigmentation or scars, and give you the illusion of bigger, fuller lips.
Does lip blushing damage your lips?
No—lip blushing, when done safely and correctly, will not “damage” your natural lips. The emphasis here is on “correctly,” which is why it’s so important to know what to look for before your appointment
Is lip blushing safe?
“Lip blushing is a largely safe treatment when performed by a qualified and experienced professional

The lip-blushing healing process:

What Are Lash Extensions?
Eyelash extensions are semi-permanent fibers that are attached to your natural eyelashes in order to make your lash fringe look longer, fuller, and darker. Individual lash extensions are applied to each of your individual natural eyelashes (one extension per natural eyelash) using a semi-permanent glue.
What’s the Application Process Like?
Lash extensions are carefully applied one at a time (typically 80-140 per eye) using a specially formulated, semi-permanent glue that will not irritate or damage the natural lash
Evaluation: Prior to application, the tech will go through all the risks and benefits of having eyelash extensions before applying them, and also ask about any conditions you may have that would make eyelash extensions unsuitable for you. We’ll also ask you to remove your contacts if you wear them.
Decide on extension length and curl strength: Based on your desired look, you’ll choose an ideal length and curl strength for the extensions.
Cleansing the eye area: Your lash artist will have you lie down and ensure that you're in a comfortable position. Then, they'll cleanse the area to remove any makeup, oil, and germs from the area. It’s helpful to your artist if you arrive makeup-free to your appointment.
Applying the tape and eye gels: Your eyes are closed for the duration of the process, which typically takes one to two hours, depending on the number of extensions your lash artist is applying. To prep for the actual application, your lash artist will apply an under-eye gel to your lower lash line to keep your lower lashes out of the way and provide a contrasting background to work against (it’s easier to see your lashes against a crisp white background). Then, the eye gels will be secured with medical-grade tape on both sides of the eye (this tape doesn’t touch your lashes, and it doesn’t hurt once it’s removed later).
Application: Using tweezers, your lash artist will dip the end of each extension in the lash glue and then apply it to your individual lash. In most cases, one eyelash extension is applied per natural lash, however, more voluminous looks can require multiple extensions per individual natural lash.
Drying: The lash glue dries very quickly, but your lash artist will likely have you sit for around 5 minutes once all of the extensions have been applied.
Removing the tape and gels: Once your lashes are completely dry, your lash artist will remove the under-eye gels and tape (this doesn’t hurt at all, but let your lash professional know if you tend to experience sensitivity in this area so they can practice extra caution). Once removed, your lash artist will likely brush through the lashes with a spoolie, then you’ll be asked to slowly blink your eyes open. Et voilà!
